Music for Heart 2007
In Review

The inaugural MUSIC FOR HEART BENEFIT CONCERT was held on Sunday, April 22,
2007 at THE CANYON in Agoura Hills, CA. This event was hosted by the ROTARY
CLUB OF AGOURA HILLS/OAK PARK and the DELANEY KATE HONORARY HEART FUND. With
more than 300 supporters in attendence, the event was a huge success raising in
excess of $60,000.00 to help children who suffer from Congenital Heart Disease.
Celebrity CHRIS HARRISON, host of ABC's The Bachelor and HGTV's Designer's
Challenge, was available for photos and autographs. Our Master of Ceremonies,
DON STARK ("Bob" on That 70's Show), did a fabulous job of getting everyone
excited about bidding on the awesome selection of auction items. The Keynote
Speaker for the evening was MR. CHAD EVERETT (National Spokesman for Gift of
Life International). Jazz Singer JULIE NEWSOME welcomed the attendees during
the VIP Reception. Entertainment continued throughout the event with
singer/songwriter ILONA EUROPA, the Oak Woods Vocal Academy Singers, and Knight
Fever. Proceeds from this event will sponsor a cardiac medical training mission
to El Salvador where the lives of 15-20 children will be saved. Additional
funds will enable the sponsorship of less fortunate children who need to be
flown to the USA for corrective heart surgery.
We wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to all our sponsors, the many
individuals and companies who donated wonderful items for our auction, the
celebrities, and all who attended for making this event such a wonderful
success. Together we are saving children's lives "one heart at a time".
