MUSIC FOR HEART

Mission to El Salvador

Proceeds from the 2007 Music for Heart Benefit Concert raised sufficient funds to sponsor a medical mission to El Salvador. With the help of "Gift of Life International" (a Rotary based non-profit organization) and Heart Care International, an expert cardio-thoracic medical/surgical team will travel from the USA to El Salvador in the later part of this year. During this mission not only will the lives of 15-20 needy cardiac children be saved, but the expert medical team will begin to train medical professionals in El Salvador who, in time, will be able to perform necessary life saving corrective heart surgeries on children in their own country. Gift of Life International has been saving the lives of cardiac children in need throughout the world since 1973 and we thank them for helping us make this project a success.
